Iconic Australian Designer Leona Edmiston began her career in the 1980’s alongside former business partner Peter Morrissey which saw the acclaimed fashion label ‘Morrissey Edmiston’ be born. Morrissey Edmiston received significant local and international recognition and dressed a string of celebrity clients including Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, Kylie Minogue, Dannii Minogue, Elle Macpherson, Michael Hutchence, Helena Christensen, Harry Connick Jr. and Jon Bon Jovi. In 2001 Leona successfully launched her solo eponymous label with business partner Jeremy Ducker. ‘Leona Edmiston’ is a tribute to the dress in all its incarnations. Today, the Leona Edmiston name and label is regarded as an iconic leader in Australian Fashion. There are many charities which are close to Leona’s heart and supports continuously – two of the most prominent being The Sydney Children’s Hospital and Barnardos Australia which she is an ambassador for their virtual foster carer program
