Hype DC is all about emerging trends, being first with tomorrows' shoe fashions, and displaying them in a store that looks very much like an art gallery, where our shoes are the pieces of art, displayed with care.

On July 1, 1998 we opened the doors of the first ever Hype DC store, in Mosman, NSW – revealing a new concept in sneaker retailing. We’ve been doing it for more 10 years now, grown to 25 stores across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia and sold over 1 million pairs.
