Firstly I must point out that we are in the shoe business to achieve a return on investment, ie. make a profit. Secondly we must find out how big is this market that gets neglected by so many suppliers and retailers, and to explore why is this so? The answer is I believe that it is not usually profitable, as in our experience more shoes are sold off price than full price, therefore no profit is to be made. To believe this, just ask any shoe retailer in the world for their view.

A great range of sizes which are always in stock would be a sure sign that we are meeting our customer’s needs, so I’m going to personally take this on as a special project to see whether it can be achieved. We are of a size now for macro marketing, but the foundation of the business was built on micro marketing and selling one pair at a time.

I won’t bore you any longer, but to finally ask you to help us, to help you, so any constructive feedback from you will be appreciated on how we can fulfill your needs. If this all works, we will then try harder for narrow widths, wider widths, and the poor 3 to 5 size customers. Hope I live long enough.
