Whitelaw & Newton, an Australian company based in Sydney, for many years has been the established style leader in original creative combinations of colours and images to produce the most exquisite and exclusive handcrafted trays. Since 1996, Whitelaw & Newton has been a quality supplier to leading Australian and international homewares and gift stores.Lindy Newton is the creative force behind the success of Whitelaw & Newton. She has brought the art of découpage to her own line of trays, using a combination of images from many parts of the world. Lindy started teaching découpage at an art centre in Sydney in 1993, and while teaching she developed a process to put large sheets of paper onto objects such as trays and placemats. Traditionally découpage only uses small pieces of paper. Using her process she began production, which has continued for nearly 20 years.As we have expanded to international markets beyond Australia our range has now grown to include other decorative surfaces for trays, as well as placemats and coasters.
